Pored zadovoljstava i nagrade na budućem svijetu, druga glavna uloga koju religija ili vjera obavlja jeste podučavanje moralnih principa.

Štaviše, ovi moralni principi ne treba samo da se čitaju ili razumiju, nego ih treba staviti u praksu (pretvoriti ih u djelo) na ovom svijetu tako da sljedbenici religije predstavljaju svoju religiju na najbolji način i na osnovu života koji žive, tako da bi dobili odgovarajuću nagradu na Budućem Svijetu.  

Islam je kompletan kod života i nudi detalje i spominje o svakom aspektu života. Prema tome, sljedeći instrukcije i upute islama, možemo na najbolji način živjeti svetski život moralnih vrijednosti.

Međutim, postoje i drugi koji misle da sljeđenje islamskih moralnih principa i vrijednosti, ustvari islam otuđuje i odvodi ih od ovog svijeta i ometa njihov način ostvarivanja uspjeha u ovom životu, na dunjaluku. Takva koncepcija o islamu je pogrešna i nema nikakve veze sa pravom porukom islama.

Islam ohrabruje svoje sledbenike da žive ovaj svetski život na najbolji način i protivi se apstinenciji i samoodricanju.

Veruj u Allaha dž,š: Veruj u Boga dž,š: Prva i najvažnija stvar koja može pomoći vjerniku da živi život na islamski način, te da postigne uspjeh kroz to vjerovanje u Jednog Boga dž,š.

Kada se vjerovanje vjernika povećava (kad se njegov iman poveća) u Allahu Svemogućeg i kad shvatimo činjenicu da je Allah Svemogući Jedini dobavljač, obskrbitelj i da sve dolazi upravo od Njega dž,š, onda vjerovanje vernika postaje snažno i iz ovoga uvjerenja sve aktivnosti koje radimo i za koje se poduzmemo, dolaze sa ubeđenjem, a kada se nešto uradi sa ubjeđenjem, šanse za uspjeh ogromne.

Allah dž,š, kaže u suri El-Bekare 165: Ima ljudi koji su umjesto Allaha kumire prihvatili, vole ih kao što se Allah voli, ali pravi vjernici još više vole Allaha. A da znaju mnogobošci da će onda kada dožive patnju – svu moć samo Allah imati i da će Allah strahovito kažnjavati.

Dakle, u životu povećano verovanje vjernika u Allaha dž,š, je znak njegove ili njene diferencijacije (različosti) od ostalih religija i njihovih sledbenika, i to je to verovanje što će vjerniku donijeti uspjeh.

Postojanost: drugi glavni islamski životni element koji može pomoći osobi da postigne uspjeh je postojanost, čvrstina, stabilnost.

Kada je osoba nepokolebljiva u vremenima teškoća ili konstantno radi u normalnim okolnostima sa stabilnošću, krajnji rezultat je uspjeh u svakoj aktivnosti. Allah dž,š, nam govori u suri Ali Imran 200: O vjernici, budite strpljivi i izdržljivi, na granicama bdijte i Allaha se bojte, da biste postigli ono što želite!

Prema tome, ako musliman želi postići uspjeh, moramo biti čvrsti u svakoj situaciji koju poduzmemo i u bilo kom poslu koji radimo svakodnevno.

Težimo ka dobru: Još jedan islamski princip koji je osnova za život, koji garantuje uspjeh na ovom i onom svijetu, je težnja za dobrim. Biti musliman, primarna je obaveza da bude dobar i da se trudi da širi dobrotu. Kada je svugdje dobrota, krajnji rezultat je uspeh za sve.

Allah dž,š, govori o tome u Kur'anu na sledeći način u suri Ankebut 69: One koji se budu zbog Nas borili Mi ćemo, sigurno, putevima koji Nama vode uputiti; a Allah je, zaista, na strani onih koji dobra djela čine!

Stoga, ako se neko želi kretati na putu dobra i da dobija uputstva od strane Allaha dž,š, onda je imperativ boriti se, i to na putu dobrote za veću uputu i naknadnu nagradu.

Islamic Way of Life – The Key Principles to Success (part 1)

Besides the pleasures and rewards of the world hereafter, the other major role that religion performs is of teaching moral principles to a person. Moreover, these moral principles are not just to be read or understood, rather they need to be put to practice in this world so that the followers of the religion represent their religion on the best manner and on the basis of the life they live, they get an appropriate reward in the world hereafter.

Islam is the complete code of life and it gives details and mentions about each and every aspect of life. Therefore, by following the instructions of Islam one can live the worldly life in the best manner.

However, there are others who think that following the principles of Islam alienates them and takes them away from this world and hinders in their way of achieving success in this life. Such a conception about Islam is wrong and it has nothing to do with real message of Islam.

Islam encourages its followers to live this worldly life in the best manner and is against abstinence.

Believe In God: Believe In God: The first and foremost important thing that can help a believer live the life in an Islamic way and achieving success through it is believing in God. When the belief of a Muslim increases in Allah Almighty and he or she realizes the fact that Allah Almighty is the sole provider, He is the Supreme and everything comes from Him, then the belief of the believer becomes strong and out of this belief whatever activity he or she undertakes it comes with conviction, and when something is done with conviction, the chances of success increase naturally.

Allah Almighty says in Quran in surah Al-Baqarah 165: “Even so, there are some who choose to worship others besides God as rivals to Him, loving them with love due to God, but the believers have greater love for God.” 

Therefore, in life the increased and greater belief of a Muslim in Allah is a sign of his or her differentiation from the rest of the religions and their followers, and this belief is what will bring success to a Muslim.

Steadfastness: The other major Islamic life element that can help a person achieve success is steadfastness. When a person is steadfast in the times of difficulty, or does work with steadfastness in normal circumstances as well, the ultimate result is success in every activity. Allah Almighty instructs the same to Muslims as well in Quran in the following way: “You who believe, be steadfast, more steadfast than others; be ready; always be mindful of God so that you may prosper.” (Ali Imran: 200)

Thus, if a Muslim wishes to achieve success, he or she needs to be steadfast in whatever activity they undertake and whatever kind of work they do on daily basis.

Strive For Good: Another Islamic principle basing the life upon which guarantees success in this world as well as in the world hereafter is the striving for goodness. Being a Muslim it is the primary duty to be good and strive for spreading goodness. When there is goodness all around, the ultimate result is success for all.

Allah Almighty says in Qur’an about this in the following manner: “But We shall be sure to guide to Our ways those who strive hard for Our cause: God is with those who do good.” (Al-Ankabuut: 69)

Therefore, if one wishes to walk in the way of good and receive guidance from Allah Almighty then it is imperative to strive and that too in the way of goodness for greater guidance and consequent reward.
